iDWELL wins apti-Award

The Austrian PropTech Initiative (apti) was looking for the best PropTech start-up in Austria in the context of the apti-Award 2019. At a final pitch in the Talent Garden Vienna on June 18th, the six selected finalists competed for the victory. In the end, the Viennese startup iDWELL won the award.

The Viennese PropTech startup iDWELL has developed a multi-channel CRM software for real estate management. The goal behind it is to automate all processes in real estate management and map them on one platform. To this end, the start-up was able to land a million euro investment of the innovation network PrimeCrowd in autumn 2018. In addition, iDWELL received a six-figure grant in February for the implementation of a project for artificial intelligence. At the beginning of the week, the start-up was named "Most Innovative PropTech Startup 2019" at the apti Awards. The pitching event was organized by the Austrian PropTech Initiative (apti) and took place in the Talent Garden Vienna. The initiative was founded to push the digitalization in the real estate sector. For this purpose, startups are networked with decision makers from the real estate industry, politics, business angels and PropTech funds.

According to the Austrian PropTech Initiative, about 50 applications have been received for the apti-Award. The application phase ran from March to the end of May, with six startups being invited to the final pitch in the Talent Garden Vienna. The six selected PropTech start-ups were allowed to pitch in front of a five-member jury consisting of Markus Schafferer (Schafferer Holding), Rudi Fries Jr. (Fries Holding), Markus Ertler (Business Angel), Erich Ebenkofler (Die Presse) and Eugen Otto (Otto Immobilien). The startups had a total of ten minutes to convince the jury of their business ideas and technical solutions.

By winning, iDWELL was able to secure an advertising budget at "Die Presse" and "Immobilien Magazin" worth 15,000 Euros. In addition, the startup receives a place at the PitchBox at the PropTech Vienna, which will take place on November 7th, 2019. "PropTech Vienna has established itself as the leading and most attended global event for technological innovation and digital transformation in the real estate sector. Current and future developments in the field of PropTech will be discussed," said Ferdinand Dietrich, Member of the Board of Directors of the Austrian PropTech Initiative.
